How to submit your medical communication using Mac

1. Take a screenshot of your bill on Mac
2. To redact:
   1. Click on the Markup button  in the grey ribbon on top of the screenshot.
   2. Select a shape from the dropdown menu:
   3. Drag the shape to the text you want to cover. Adjust the shape as needed. Select a fill color for your shape.
      
   4. Repeat steps b. and c. to cover additional text.
3. To save your screenshot: File > Export > select PDF/JPEG/PNG
4. Fill out the submission form which lets you upload your redacted file.

How to submit your medical communication using iPhone

1. Take a photo of your medical communication with your iPhone.
2. To redact:
   1. Tap Edit, then tap the Markup button.
   2. Tap the Add button and select a shape.
   3. Drag the shape to the text you want to cover. Adjust the shape as needed. Select a fill color for your shape from the color display at the bottom of your screen
   4. Repeat steps b. and c. to cover additional text.
3. Tap Done twice. Your photo is now redacted.
4. Fill out the submission form which lets you upload your redacted file.

How to submit your medical communication using Windows

1. Take a screenshot of your medical communication on Windows.
2. To redact:
   1. Press Windows Key + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool (Snip & Sketch).
   2. Drag to select the area you want to capture. The screenshot will appear in the Snip & Sketch editor.
   3. Use the Draw tool (pen/highlighter) or insert a shape (rectangle/line).
   4. Choose a solid black (or other dark) color for redaction.
   5. Drag the shape or draw over the text you want to cover.
   6. Repeat steps c–e to cover additional text.
3. To save your screenshot: Select the floppy disk icon > select PDF/JPEG/PNG
4. Fill out the submission form which lets you upload your redacted file.

How to submit your medical communication using Android

1. Take a photo of your medical communication with your Android phone.
2. To redact:
   1. Open the photo in the Gallery/Photos app.
   2. Tap Edit, then choose Markup (this may appear as a pencil or edit icon).
      
   3. Select the pen tool.
   4. Use a solid dark color (e.g., black) to draw or place a shape over the text you want to cover.
   5. Repeat steps c–d to cover any additional text.
3. Save your redacted photo: Tap Save as copy. The redacted copy will be saved in your photo gallery.
4. Fill out the submission form which lets you upload your redacted file.
