The Center for Plain Language invites you to join this behind-the-scenes look at the pediatric plain language trial summary that earned the 2026 Grand ClearMark Award. Health Literacy Media will share how the team developed the template, wrote and designed for readers as young as 12 years old, and refined the final product using feedback from parents and children. Participants will learn practical techniques for planning, writing, designing, and testing lay summaries that make complex information easier to understand.
