Karen Field Carroll

With over 20 years’ experience in the field of technical communication, Karen is a Sr. technical writer, editor, and plain language trainer who holds a Master’s degree in English from Northern Arizona University. As the owner of ClearPoint Technical Communication, Karen helps clients reap the rewards of clear, concise, and complete product documentation by writing plain-language help content and teaching her methods to other technical writers. She is working on two books about plain language in technical communication. Her first book will be published in the Spring of 2017.
